The Class of '56

The heart of the Class of '56 beats strong. With Elvis bursting on the scene and rocketing up the charts, the class of 1956 was forging relationships that would last a lifetime. The class still meets annually for their Christmas Luncheon, and continues to make a difference by collecting for Veterans causes and continuing to lead by example, pioneering and creating new traditions for all classes to follow.

On Sunday, April 10th, the 5th Annual Induction Breakfast for the Pennsylvania Drum Corps Hall of Fame took place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Harrisburg, PA. It is with great pleasure to announce that our classmate Jack McDevitt was in the Induction Class of 2011.

A great award signifying the acknowledgement of excellence in achievement

and talent by his peers.

Subject: Great News - Rick Kilfeather

Do you believe in Miracles??? Well sit down for this one. Since my last email regarding Rick Kilfeather's status on May 11th there has been a miracle reversal in Rick's battle with terminal cancer. He has fought back from Hospice in his home....weighing 120lbs and on oxygen and pain medications to ....now 137 lbs, off the oxygen and moving about...even getting out in the car with his wife Connie for errands....and most remarkable of all..............He just received word from his doctor that his blood work from last week came back and that his is "clean" of cancer in his body. This is truly a MIRACLE!! Much prayer and we now see the results of it. Can't believe that in early May I said goodbye to my best friend and now he is back and fighting.

Please email him words of encouragement, wishes and prayers to his email address chron2.714@netzero.net. I know it would mean a lot to him and support his recovery.

Please let me know that you received this email and that the class will get the Good News! Also fire me any questions yu might have. I will continue to update on Rick's progress as roll along.
